Insignificant Contributer

"You Used to be my Laughter"

There are days when I think that I won't get by, knowing that you are no longer mine.
I don't see colours anymore, and food doesn't taste the same.

How did it end up like this?
Why did I have to taste your lips?

Nobody dreams around here anymore,
And in our nightmares our tears have all run dry.
For without them, there is no way for us to let out the pain.

How did we end up like this?
Why did we have to taste each others lips?

You feel her pain,
You beg her not to cry.
But what do you know of suffering?
Other than that of making other people suffer?
It drifts away in a cloud of smoke, you wonder.

How did it end up like this?
Why did I have to taste her lips?
